Welcome to Chin Youth Organization of North America

In commemoration of the 63rd Chin National Day, this new CYONA website had been launched. In 2009, the first CYONA website was initiated in order to display information about our organization as much as we can.  CYONA, as a young organization formed by Chin youth in North America continent, still has been attempting to improve in all fields that the organization has been destined to. This new web template has been born in substitution of our previous template. We wish that this website will reveal about who we are, what we are doing and what we have been doing for and how. We wish our visitor of the site would see our transparency and uniqueness while  navigating through our pages. Brief information on CYO regions across the US continent will also be accessible.

In this new website, News section where news related to Chin people and Burma political issues together with top global breaking news will be regularly written and updated both in Hakha-Chin language and English.

All most every seasons, we the Chin people always have traditional festivals, events and activities. This is one of our intention for publishing this website that photos and images from those activities and events will be displayed on our web. Multimedia section will be regularly updated with images, songs and video clips.

In order to maintain and promote Chin language and literature, Hakha-Chin will be vastly used in this web because Hakha-Chin language is used by majority of diverse ethnic-tribes in the current Chin State in Burma and those diaspora Chin around the world. Socio-political, Socio-economic and  religious Articles and Poems written by Chin scholar writers and researcher also will be accessible in this new website.

CYONA web forum will be a section where the Chin youth around the glob exchange their ideas and views. Users will be welcomed without limit but under moderation of CYO web admin.

In addition to articles about Chin people and Chinland, CYO website will present you basic reliable information about the Chinland and her people including the demographics and some glimpses of the indigenous culture.
